Unlike BlenderMCP which requires a socket-based addon, Resolve Claude MCP connects directly to DaVinci Resolve via its native scripting API. This means a simpler, single-process architecture: No addon to install inside Resolve. No socket server. Just one MCP server that talks directly to Resolve.
